- Backstory -Born and raised as Aaron Maddox, Amber experienced the formative years of her life being raised as the young boy everyone believed her to be. Although sheβd known from a young age there was something different about herself, she didnβt begin understanding those feelings until she entered into her early teenage years. Otherwise Amber lived a perfectly normal childhood. Her father was a well respected member of the academic field, who always ensured his children took their education seriously. Her mother owned and operated a massively successful fashion design company that kept the family more than comfortable financially. Although Amber was perhaps a little more distant and guarded around others, no doubt a natural reaction to someone figuring out difficult truths about themselves then hiding those truths from the world, she seemed no different from every other child and eventually teenager.Coming out as transgender immediately after graduating high school, Amber Maddox took a year off from pursuing her education to get her life together and begin living as the young woman sheβd always known herself to be. Taking that time to adjust to the life sheβd always dreamed of living, Amber couldnβt be happier with the decision to finally allow the world to see her as sheβs always seen herself. Finding that person and settling into living authentically is exactly what she spent that year doing. It was most certainly a year well spent.Now that Amber has settled into life, sheβs started to further her education determined to make something of herself.. Double majoring in business and fashion design, Amber wishes to follow in her mothers footsteps and become successful in the fashion industry. Having always had an artistic eye and being a devout follower of fashion trends, this perfectly fits the passionate young womanβs personality and is a goal she will no doubt achieve one day.Having spent her entire high school years dreaming of being a cheerleader, and practicing all the routines in private, Amber obviously wanted to join the squad immediately upon starting college. Not being one to settle for simply joining, and knowing her father, whoβs the president of the university, would do anything to make her happy, Amber had some strings pulled and herself made the cheerleading captain of the squad. With the previous captain having graduated the spot was technically open, although it was supposed to go to a more experienced member of the squad, not a freshman. A fact that has caused some issues and discontent among the others.Spending her time between living in her dorm on campus, because she wants to experience college life to the fullest, and her family's luxury home off campus, because she needs much more space than a dorm room can provide, Amber is doing everything she can to make the most of her time in school. Between classes, cheerleading, hobbies, parties, friends, dating, and everything else a young woman would spend her time doing at college, Amber is experiencing it all and is the happiest sheβs ever been. What will the coming years of her time at college bring, nobody knows. But one thingβs for certain, Amber is going to have the time of her life in the process.
- Additional Information -- Always wanting to be the best, and not wanting her lack of experience used against her, Amber practices for cheerleading more than most. Including early every morning before most people are even awake, which very few people are aware she does. Her lack of experience is hidden behind overconfidence and her willingness to push herself harder than she probably should.- For the first number of months after coming out Amber and her fathers relationship was rather strained. Not because he didnβt support or love her, he always did. But simply because the two were unsure of the new father daughter dynamic between them and how that changed things. Things have greatly improved in recent months with the two settling into a new normal that theyβre both happy with.- Amberβs signature red hair is a combination of her own hair and professionally applied extensions. The color is completely natural and something she is very proud of.- Although she doesnβt get nearly enough time to do it, Amber enjoys painting as another outlet for her artistic creativity. A hobby that will often merge with her love of fashion design to create rather creative paintings. But unlike fashion, painting isnβt something Amber wishes to do professionally. Itβs simply something she enjoys as a relaxing hobby.- Besides cheerleading Amber spends a considerable amount of time working out to ensure her body looks its absolute best. Using a combination of exercise, hormones and supplements to give her the curves she desires. Unfortunately her breasts are still not the size she wishes them to be, so she uses hyper realistic breast forms attached to her chest to enhance her appearance. Which is something she keeps very much a secret.- The overconfident, and sometimes bitchy, attitude Amber displays is mostly a mask to hide the personal insecurities she has about various aspects of herself. Beneath that mask resides a much sweeter, loyal and compassionate person that unfortunately very few get to see.- Despite their many differences Amber and her older brother get along very well and have always been extremely close. A close relationship they continue to maintain now that theyβre attending the same college.- Ever since she was young Amber has idolized her mother and wanted to be exactly like her. Now that sheβs entering college and forging her own path in life, Amber is starting to make those ambitions a reality as she hopes to follow in her mothers footsteps and one day take the fashion world by storm.- All throughout high school Amber would watch the cheerleaders practice wishing she could have joined the squad. Doing so allowed her to learn many of the routines which she would then practice secretly at home. So despite having not officially been a cheerleader before starting college, she has a good deal of practice and knowledge on the subject.- The relationship between Amber and her younger brother has suffered the most since her decision to come out and become her true self. Not because of any hatred on her brother's part, but considering his age and the peer pressure of teenage boys around him, it has put him into a difficult position leading to some tension in their relationship. A problem that will no doubt work itself out in time.- Amber being given the spot of head cheerleader despite being a freshman, due to her family, has caused a number of problems on the squad. With some members taking Amberβs side well others have supported those whoβve been on the squad longer, who they believe should have been given the position. An issue that has led to infighting and tension among the cheerleaders.
